Pressure Ulcer is considered an adverse event and an aggravating factor.This study intends evaluate the prophylactic and therapeutic measures used for LPP by the nursing team in three clinical intensive care units. It is a descriptive study of the documentary type of quantitative analysis. Held in a Tertiary hospital in Fortaleza, with closed medical records of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. Participated in the study302 patients. Prevailed women with complete secondary educationand retirees, with a reason for the prevalent hospitalization of resection of brain tumor. The length of stay was between one and five days, with the main outcome of discharge. Prophylactic measures were not used in 200 (66.22%) patients. 120 of these, developed Pressure Injury, especially in stage 2 and in sacral and calcaneus, with the main coverages employed were AGE and hydrocolloid. There were varied resources in the three units, adequate staff sizing and even interventions, which would not even need products, but even these were not implemented, in most patients, such as MD or cushion placement. However, these injuries were seen in fewer patients than expected, however, there was a limitation of underreporting in the records.
